Most of us will never have the opportunity to don couture worth thousands of dollars -- or more! -- and if we do, we'll undoubtedly put in the extra effort to keep our high-end garment in brand-new condition. But Florence Welch clearly doesn't care about couture: If it's making her slip, it's getting the snip. According to onlookers, the Florence + the Machine front-woman took a pair of scissors to her Givenchy gown when its floor-length fringe started getting tangled on the furniture at the Costume Institute's Met Gala on May 6. We just hate it when bad things happen to good garments!
