The R&B singer, whose real name is Cheryl Clemons, recently documented the health scare on the band's new reality show "SWV Reunited," and she has since assured fans they have nothing to be worried about.
The 43-year-old tells Essence.com, "There were lumps found in both breasts but I had a biopsy done on the left breast on the show so that's what the cancer scare was about. I still have lumps but I went back and the lumps shrunk. The biopsy came back and it was benign."

The news couldn't come at a better time for Clemons. SWV kicks off a new tour in the U.S. on Saturday.
