The Olsens Debut $55,000 Backpack Covered in Pills
The Row's new backpack, which retails for $55,000, may have prescription pill appliques all over it, but for one thing, it's art, and for another -- it's for a good cause! The bag, designed by Damien Hirst for the Olsens' label, is made of black, patent leather Nile crocodile, and some of the proceeds from its sales will go towards UNICEF.
(And we're too polite to invoke the connection between Mary-Kate Olsen, Heath Ledger and prescription medication.) But if you're craving a snappy satchel designed to simultaneously offend both PETA and Narcotics Anonymous, you'd better act fast: Only 12 of the limited edition bags are hitting the market.
