Joe Manganiello's fitness book hits shelves, complete with scrawny junior high portrait
"I was not blessed with the genes to put on muscle weight. I've never touched a steroid. I had to bust my a--." So says Joe Manganiello in "Evolution," his new fitness book, which hit shelves on Tuesday. And for those of you who take a little more convincing about Joe's au naturel path to hugeness, the "True Blood" were-hunk has helpfully included in the book's pages a snapshot of his twerpy, scrawny, utterly-un-pumped-up self circa junior high.
The tome also includes some Manganiello muscle adulation courtesy of Arnold Schwarzenegger, plus advice about focusing while working out, eating "small, high-protein meals throughout the day" and "working out two body parts a day for six days" to achieve maximum Manganiello-esque manliness … mullet and sun sensor specs not included.
