After declaring that the Elgin Marbles should be removed from the British Museum in London and sent back to Greece, where the collection originated, "Monuments Men" star George Clooney is catching flack from London Mayor Boris Johnson.
"Someone," Johnson tells the Telegraph, "urgently needs to restore George Clooney's marbles." (Ba-dum, ching!)
"Here he is plugging a film about looted Nazi art without realizing that Goring [Nazi politician Hermann Goring] himself had plans to plunder the British Museum. And where were the Nazis going to send the Elgin marbles? To Athens!… He should stuff the Hollywood script and stick to history."
