Naomi Campbell: Cell Phone Throwing is 'Part of My History'
When it comes to historic life events, some people consider their college experience or their first kiss as moments that helped shape who they are today. Unfortunately for Naomi Campbell, the instant she hurled a cell phone at her assistant back in 2007, it became part of her persona for life. "I'm never gonna get away from it," the supermodel admits in the new issue of Elle. "It's part of my history. I was remorseful and regretful. I've served. I did that time. And I never want to be in that position again." In 2013, however, the 42-year-old beauty sounds pleased to be tasked with the kinder, gentler role of mentoring aspiring young models for the upcoming show, "The Face." "I care for my girls," she promises. "Every single one of them. I'm not here to put anyone down." "The Face" premieres Feb. 12 on Oxygen. (DailyNews)
