Sheryl Crow on Lance Armstrong Admission: 'Honesty Is Always the Best'
New reports based on affidavits submitted in Lance Armstrong's doping case suggest that Sheryl Crow was "in the room" during at least one conversation about the cyclist's drug use and cover-up. But the singer, who was once engaged to Armstrong, rarely discussed the issue in public before Armstrong came clean in last week's interview with Oprah Winfrey. Admitting that she watched "bits and pieces" of the segment, Crow tells ET: "I think that honesty is always the best bet and that the truth will set you free … To carry around a weight like that would be devastating in the long run."
