Christian Groups Slam NPH Super Bowl Ad
Jets quarterback and avowed Christian Tim Tebow has a habit of referencing biblical passages on the black used under his eyes on the field. So, ahead of the Super Bowl, football fan and general purveyor of adorableness Neil Patrick Harris, used some eye black of his own to help CBS advertise the big game, listing the date of the broadcast rather than the location of a New Testament passage on his face. A cute, ad-savvy precursor to the advertising event of the year? … Or a God-hating slander against Christians intended to "push the gay agenda?" Not so shockingly, the Christian right is going with option B. The conservative news outlet WND slammed CBS for "using an outspoken homosexual actor" to "push the gay agenda" and "mock Christians." No comment yet from NPH, but we're praying that his retort involves gratuitous cuteness in the form of photos of his husband and their kids. (Radar)
