Pregnant Kim Kardashian immortalized in statue form
We suppose it's the headband and earrings that are supposed to indicate to the world that this armless statue of a very pregnant lady is Kim Kardashian. More likely, though, it's the sculptor's name that provides the celebrity subject tip-off. Artist Daniel Edwards shared this objet d'art entitled "L.A. Fertility" (cough) at the LAB Art Gallery in Los Angeles on Wednesday, encouraging viewers to "give a respectful rub" to the life-size statue's protruding belly, as if she were a modern day, Hollywood-centric Buddha. The exhibition also includes a number of fetus sculptures, including a small, curled-up unborn Kimye, Jr. and a crown-wearing royal baby-to-be. (Because hooray for international creepiness.)
We should also note that Kim got off easy compared to some of her famous peers: Edwards' homage to Britney Spears, for example, was a stone image of the singer giving birth to Sean Preston. At least Kim's rendering is birth canal-free.
