James Franco celebrates birthday, LGBT Film Festival award with an S&M cake
Shortly after accepting an Ally award at the Miami Gay and Lesbian Film Festival (and celebrating his 35th birthday) last week, James Franco hit WhoSay to share a photo of a red and black cake decorated with a strap-on, whip and various other sex toys. His name was written across one part of the cake in icing, along with the names Cassandra [Simon] and Travis[Mitchell]. Turns out the trio of bondage fans were all involved in making Franco's new film, "Leather Bar," which tackles bringing back to life the 40 minutes of hardcore sex that had been deleted back in 1980 before the release of "Cruising," Al Pacino's controversial turn as an undercover cop hunting down a serial killer who was hunting gay men.
… What? That doesn't sound like an uplifting cake design to you?
