Alicia Keys Closing on Eddie Murphy's NJ Home?
Seven years ago, Eddie Murphy put his Englewood , N.J. mansion on the market for an eye-popping $30 million. And there it sat. As time passed, the 32-room Colonial mansion -- which boasted 10,000 square feet until Murphy added another 15,000 square feet of space -- continued to drop in price. Now, multiple outlets report that Alicia Keys and her husband, Swizz Beatz, are taking the burden off Murphy's shoulders -- for almost half the initial asking price. Keys, Swizz and their toddler son, Egypt, are reportedly close to closing on the home, which comes with an indoor bowling alley, racquetball court, nursery, pool and a guest house that the Daily Mail claims is "almost big enough to be cast as a mansion itself." Some reports claim they are plunking down $12 million for the new pad, while other outlets claim the price is a bit steeper at $15 million. Meanwhile, Murphy apparently lives in his home in Bel Air, an even crazier-looking property that seems more like a small, walled city than a house. (DailyMail)
