Demi Lovato on Love: 'I Need to Be OK With Being Alone First'
Although she's back to a grueling schedule that includes work on her fourth album and appearances on "X Factor," Demi Lovato, who underwent treatment for eating disorders, drug and alcohol issues and self-harm in 2010, is putting her recovery above all else. Speaking to Teen Vogue, Demi explains that therapy remains a big part of her life, and she's "weeded out" those in her former inner circle who didn't have her "best interests" in mind. The rumored on-off flame of Wilmer Valderrama is also taking a therapeutic approach to romance these days: "I need to not be in a relationship for a while because I need to be OK with being alone, first," she says. "I'm really happy right now. I never thought it was possible to be happy because of how depressed I was my entire life. But I feel so incredible. It's like I'm living in a dream." (Celebitchy)
