Macklemore and Ryan Lewis are killing it: four Grammy wins, for Best Rap Song, Best Rap Performance, Best Rap Album and Best New Artist. The duo had seven nominations total, so let's see how many more they pick up. They had a big 2013, and 2014 is off to a pretty, pretty good start. (Macklemore told Ryan Seacrest on the red carpet that it's been, "Nonstop work. You work your whole life to get to this point." No doubt!)
But there has been a little controversy regarding these award winners: Do they belong in the rap category at all? It's rumored that the Grammys committee almost left them out, but it's a good thing that tempest in a tea kettle passed. Despite disagreements (and the fact that Macklemore said Kendrick Lamar had a better album) these guys deserve every award they get.
