Allison Williams is banging, and we're not talking about her good looks.

The "Girls" actress debuted a new look on Instagram on Jan. 28, one that shows her once long brunette locks looking a bit different.

It's still long, sure, but she now has bangs!

And, much like her character on "Girls," she got "banged" early in the morning, albeit in a much different way.

"It's 3:20 am and @mrchrismcmillan just banged me," she captioned a selfie of her new 'do. The caption also references Jennifer Aniston's favorite hairstylist and the man who created the infamous "Rachel" cut.

Allison used several emojis to indicate she just got a haircut and used the hashtag, "#PastMyBedtime."

Chris also posted a selfie of he and his freshly-shorn client, indicating that the inspiration for the cut was English singer and actress Jane Birkin.

Rather than using words to describe the cut, Chris captioned his image simply with hashtags.

The cut, Allison said, is for a part. In another Instagram shot posted on Jan. 28, she humorously gave a step-by-step guide to her banging process.

"Step 1: cut bangs on nervous girl who wants them for a character she's about to play;," she wrote of an image showing her an Chris looking at the cell phone. "Step 2: take 1000 mediocre selfies and 1 or 2 good ones; Step 3: assess selfie mediocrity (pictured here). @mrchrismcmillan."
