Legendary reality TV villain Omarosa Manigault is sporting some new jewelry these days after getting engaged to her boyfriend.
"The Apprentice" star said "yes" on Sunday after her man, John Allen Newman, proposed to her on Sunday in front of his congregation at The Sanctuary @ Calvary Church in Jacksonville, Florida, TMZ is reporting.
John Allen is a pastor at the church, so it's certainly feasible that they could marry there and get one heck of a price for renting the venue!
Omarosa reportedly met John when she was teaching at Howard University. They've dated for less than a year.
Omarosa, who is an assistant pastor at Weller Street Baptist Church in Los Angeles, became such a controversial figure on Donald Trump's reality show in 2004 that she has become known by one name, like Madonna and Cher.
She has made quite a career off of reality TV. Aside from the NBC show, she's also appeared on "The Surreal Life," "Fear Factor," and Oxygen's prank show "Girls Behaving Badly." She also appeared on "Celebrity Apprentice."
Lately, she's often seen on network news channels after being named the director of African-American outreach for Donald Trump's presidential campaign.
Prior to dating her now-fiancé, Omarosa dated the late actor Michael Clarke Duncan, who died of a heart attack in September 2012.
During an episode of "Where Are They Now," she revealed details of the night he suffered the attack (which was two months before his death), saying she overheard him having trouble breathing, before hearing silence. She performed CPR and said she prayed.
"I just started praying. I prayed like I have never prayed before," she said.
Several months after his death, Michael's sister launched an investigation over allegations that Omarosa manipulated the "Green Mile" actor into rewriting his will in the months leading up to his death.
