It's a Snapchat story that ended in a surprising twist.
Zac Efron has a fan so dedicated to getting a Snapchat of the "Baywatch" star that he broke his phone in the process.
Ahmed T. wanted to get a snap of Zac, who is currently filming "Baywatch" in Boca Raton, Florida, but his phone fell to the ground. It's a scene some of us know all too well, but Zac managed to make it all better.
Ahmed tells the story on an Instagram video he managed to get with the 28-year-old star.
"Today while running after his car after he was taking break from shooting his new movie bay watch, I ran after his car with no care in the world, did not care wether the police stop me or not, my phone fell on the ground and shattered complelty."
He continues the story,"Zac said, 'Dude did you're phone just break?' He allowed me to take a video with him, He allowed me to come on set to meet him properly. and also Bought me a brand new phone. Which was $949.99 retail. @zacefronthank you brother , keep giving the audience an extrodanary performances. Keep being humble thank you. Even if he wasn't going to get me a new phone it was all worth it."
The experience gave Zac's fan a whole new appreciation for him.
"This man went out of his way to buy me a brand new phone and allowed me to even walk on set his new movie when you didn't have to. You acknowledge your fans, Brother you have a heart. There is definitely a reason as to why you are who you are," he wrote.
"You don't understand how this meant so much to me bro. Last thing on my mind was for you get me a new phone because I ran after you're car. I knew the risks I was taking. Thank you once again I will never forgot this moment."
And Zac couldn't help but share the moment on his Instagram too.
"This is what I love about my fans - when they get excited, but @dopekid_23 actually smashed his phone while chasing me for a snapchat - that's dedication so I'm a hook you up with a new phone my brother!" he captioned the photo with Ahmed before giving his fans some advice. "To all my fans out there holdin it down - love and respect. And be careful with your phones 😂."
So take this lesson. If you're going to drop your phone, you should do it after Snapchatting Zac!
