Please let the record show that Britney Spears is hot and does not have to manipulate images in order to appear as such.
We think that's how the pop star's attorney would have captioned her latest Instagram pic if given the chance.
In the photo, posted on Thursday, March 24, Britney stands in front of her mirror wearing tiny pink, denim shorts and a simple, cropped white shirt.
The mother of two is clearly slim, sculpted and toned without the help of any special lighting or magic tricks. She captioned the photo, "Good Afternoon."
We can't be sure, but it seems like this photo is a direct response to all of the doubters out there who didn't believe Britney when she posted a photo of herself in a teeny tiny yellow bikini, showing her amazing physique. We were mostly impressed by the pool she's next to, but hey, Britney looks great. She captioned the photo, "Just chilling."
The singers' fans (haters?) quickly pointed out that the image looked manipulated. Some suggested that concrete should be showing where we can see water under the arch in her back.
'The gap in your back should be stone, not water. Bad photoshop,' wrote one fan.
'It doesn't look real,' another commented, adding: 'She's beautiful but there's something wrong with the pool's border.'
We really don't understand what all of the fuss was about in the first place. It's perfectly reasonable for someone who is on stage in Vegas every day, singing and dancing her heart out, to get into the best shape of her life.
Interestingly, rapper Iggy Azalea revealed that Britney's team wants to make sure the singer continues in this healthy state. She told Andy Cohen during a taping of "Watch What Happens Live," that, while they were working on their 2015 collaboration "Pretty Girls," Britney's staff swept Iggy's house for drugs before allowing the women to have lunch together.
"They came and checked my place to make sure I wasn't trying to, like, stash anything weird and like give it to her or something," Iggy said.
'I was like, 'I promise, I'm not going to do anything bad, we're just going to have lunch.''
