All is not well on the Charlie Sheen front, at least when it comes to legal matters between him and his ex-fiance Brett Rossi
The former porn star was granted a seven day restraining order against Charlie, telling police that she is terrified of the actor, TMZ reports.
The website said Brett arrived at a Los Angeles police station on March 31 and reported an incident that occurred between the former lovers. Less than 24 hours later, a judge granted the order and Brett apparently plans to file an extension next week to make Charlie keep his distance.
What happened between the two of them isn't known. The two have had a rocky relationship, to say the least.
In December, she filed a lawsuit accusing the actor of assault and battery, emotional distress, false imprisonment and negligence.
Many believed that she was suing him because he allegedly didn't disclose to her that he is HIV positive while continuing to have unprotected sex, but she told People magazine in December — a few weeks after his public HIV reveal — that isn't the case. Many believe that a wave of lawsuits could still be coming his way.
Brett's complaint described an allegedly physically and emotionally abusive relationship. But, she said she was too in love with the former "Two and a Half Men" star, and then too afraid, to leave him.
Charlie has said she's simply trying to extort him with the lawsuit.
"I'm scared he wants to kill me," she told People. Clearly, as evidenced by the restraining order, she still feels that way.
Brett, who also goes by her birth name "Scottine," or "Scotty," and Charlie were engaged from November 2013 to October 2014. Shortly after the romance ended, she was rushed to the hospital after suffering an apparent overdose.
"Scotty and I had a great year together as we traveled the world and crossed a lot of things off our bucket list," Charlie said when they split. "She's a terrific gal -- but we've mutually decided to go our separate ways and not spend the rest of our lives together."
A report came out shortly after saying that she was not taking it well.
"It's been four or five weeks, but Brett is taking it very hard," the insider said. "She still has not gotten over the breakup."
