Peta Murgatroyd is having a pretty wonderful week!

On the heels of her big "Dancing With the Stars" win alongside partner Nyle DiMarco, Peta has even bigger news to share. She's pregnant!

Peta and her fiancé Maksim Chmerkovskiy are expecting their first child together, according to Us Weekly.

The professional dancers got engaged in December 2015, after a long courtship. Peta and Maksim first started dating way back in 2012, but split in 2013, only to reunite in early 2015. The proposal was picture perfect, taking place in Miami, Florida during a performance of "Sway: A Dance Trilogy." It was there that Maksim got down on one knee and asked her to marry him right on stage.

"I'm in love with you and I want to be in love with you for the rest of my life. Will you marry me?" Maksim asked Peta in front of the crowd, resulting in an obvious yes.

Fast forward a few months and the two are ready to expand their brood and share that love. Despite being on-again and off-again at the beginning of their romance, it's clear the couple are madly in love and ready to tie the knot.

In February 29-year-old Peta opened up to Us Weekly about her future baby daddy, "I've always said he has the most incredible generosity. He wants to take care of everybody that he knows. He has an incredible sense of humor when you get to see it," she said. "I think that his bad-boy image is slowly kind of drifting away — and that harsh Maksim image. He is the biggest teddy bear you'll ever meet underneath that Ukrainian look. I just love him. Everything about him. He's just a great man."

She also foreshadowed this new addition back then, tell the magazine that Maksim is "somebody that I've always seen as being a great father and a great husband."

The exciting news comes right before Maksim packs up to head out on tour with his brother, and fellow "Dancing With the Stars" star, Val Chmerkovskiy. Maksim and Val are heading out on a 45 city tour called "Maks & Val Live On Tour: Our Way," starting in Florida in June and wrapping up in California in August.
