Reunited -- and it feels so good!

On Jan. 21, Jessica Chastain's grandmother Marilyn Herst was visiting a McDonald's in Vallejo, California, when her beloved dog Livvy was stolen.

Devastated, her famous granddaughter took to Instagram to beg her California fans for their help in finding the pet. "For those of you who love animals, you must understand how devastated my grandma is. Please help. xxjes @mcdonalds," the Oscar-nominated star shared with her 480,000 followers.

Two days later, her pleas were answered. "Livvy is FOUND!!!!! My grandma picked her up a couple hours ago. Thank you to each and every one of you that spread the word and put attention on this," Jessica wrote on Jan. 23, sharing a photo of her grandmother and Livvy together again.

"I truly believe you all are the the guardian angels that reunited these 2 beauties," she added. "Much love to you xxjess#love #gratitude."

The same day, Jessica took to Instagram to share a video of herself with her own beloved dog, three-legged Chaplin, as they played in the snow in New York City before winter storm Jonas forced residents indoors.
