Kelly Ripa failed to show up for the live taping of her TV show "Live! with Kelly and Michael" on April 20.
Ripa was apparently "blindsided" by co-host Michael Strahan's decision to leave their show for a full-time gig at "Good Morning America,"
Sources tell TMZ, "Kelly feels disrespected and humiliated that she wasn't given the courtesy of a heads-up." Their insider says she reportedly "may not show for the foreseeable future."
TMZ claims Kelly and the show's producer, Michael Gelman, heard about Strahan's departure for the first time Tuesday morning, leaving them "stunned and upset" since they were in the dark throughout the process and had no plans to replace the NFL legend.
Former "SNL" star Ana Gasteyer filled in for Kelly as Strahan formally announced his move.
"Kelly is off today," Strahan said. "I've been in the news lately."
The NFL Hall of Famer continued, "I'm leaving this show and I'm a go to 'GMA' full time, which is going to happen in September."
Strahan joined "Live!" full-time in 2011.
"It is the same channel. I'm not going anywhere," Strahan insisted.
