Looking good, girl! Kim Richards' struggles over the past several years have been well-documented, but from the looks of it, she's doing just fine.
The former "Real Housewives of Beverly Hills" star attended the premiere of "Sharknado: The 4th Awakens" over the weekend in Las Vegas and she was all smiles. Other Bravo stars attended the showing of the cult film at the Stratosphere Casino, as well.
"Vegas will never be the same!! VAVOOMSHABANG💥💥💥 @Sharknadosyfy #sharknado4 🐋 @syfy," she captioned a photo of herself on the red carpet from the event.
At one point not too long ago, friends would likely worry about Kim hanging out in a place like Las Vegas where alcohol is about as ubiquitous as slot machines. The former reality star looks like she's moved past that troublesome time, as she often posts pictures with her family and friends, while keeping a low profile. What's important is she looks happy and healthy in those images.
It certainly hasn't always been that way.
In September 2015, as part of a plea deal, a judge let her skirt time behind bars so long as she attended 52 AA classes and did 30 days of community labor. The sentence stems from an incident five months earlier in which she had a drunken meltdown at the Beverly Hill Hotel in Los Angeles. After hiding out in a restroom, police said she kicked an officer. She's was charged with trespassing, resisting arrest, battery on a police officer and being drunk in public.
Then it seemed that she hadn't been serving the community, and a judge wasn't happy.
In April, the judge issued a bench warrant for the former reality star since she has yet to turn in any documentation to prove she's attended the number of AA classes ordered in her plea deal. Bail was been set at $26,000.
Kim's situation was quite strange. In February, she was called into a Los Angeles courtroom to explain why she had yet to perform any of her 30 days of community service. She had previously said she couldn't do hard labor because of a foot injury, but the prosecutor said that was all hogwash because she'd been spotted in photos wearing high heels on red carpets.
That wasn't all. In August 2015 she was arrested for shoplifting from Target and she was even reportedly homeless and living out of her car. She's maintained that since September of 2015 she's is sober and healthy.
Keep up the good work, Kim.
