We love Kristen Bell because she keeps it real -- even when it comes to her seemingly picture-perfect marriage to Dax Shepard.

The "Bad Moms" actress made no secret of the fact that she and her hubby of two years work very hard at their relationship and that their love isn't all just sloths, magic and African dance parties all the time.

In an interview with Us Weekly, "The Boss" actress said, "One thing I like to reiterate … is that we've done a lot of work on our relationship."

The former "Veronica Mars" star, who did the interview with Shepard by her side, added, "We're very focused on staying together. We've made a choice to love each other but realize relationships are a lot of work. I think it's responsible to be honest about that."

The 35-year-old went on, "It's hard work, working out the kinks of how learning how to argue because we disagree on almost every topic on the planet. We earned our relationship, which we're very proud of."

In the joint interview, Shepard took the time to gush about his wife skills at home. "Kristen is a phenomenal cook, like, a crazy, crazy amazing cook," raved the 41-year-old. "I could have something at a restaurant and I'll go, 'Oh my god this is amazing' and then she'll make it the next day."

Sounds like a pretty rad deal for Shepard!

Bell also revealed in an interview with Good Housekeeping back in April 2015 that the two are very different people. "We're the Paula Abdul video 'Opposites Attract' personified," she joked. (FYI: That's the music video where Paula Abdul is dating a sexy but irresponsible cat, MC Cat. They drive each other crazy, but love each other regardless! It's a great tale of "opposites attract" and love between and a human and a cartoon.)

She also told the mag in that interview that the duo go to couples counseling regularly. Bell said, "You do better in the gym with a trainer; you don't figure out how to cook without reading a recipe. Therapy is not something to be embarrassed about."

All that hard work seems to be paying off -- the twosome, who are proud parents to daughters Lincoln and Delta, are as cute as ever.
