LA PRIDE Music Festival and Parade is just around the corner!
The largest LGBTQ ticketed event in the United States, produced by nonprofit Christopher Street West (CSW), is happening on June 10-12th, and the music festival lineup promises to be unlike any year past. And let's not forget, last year, Kesha set the standard high.
"This year we doubled down on talent and are excited to have such a strong lineup performing at the Music Festival," CSW President Chris Classen says. "Our Festival rivals other major music events around the country and offers a lineup you can't find anywhere else among LGBTQ events, and at a fraction of the cost of other music festival tickets."
There will be a variety of stages including the Delta Air Lines Main Stage, the Nissan Latin Music Stage powered by Club Papi, and the Hip Hop Music Stage powered by B.A.S.H.
And you'll definitely want to check out Carly Rae Jepsen! It doesn't feel like it was that long ago that we saw her as Frenchy in "Grease: Live!" -- and now the multi-platinum GRAMMY-nominated singer-songwriter is set to perform songs from her current album, "E·MO·TION."
Get ready, because if she doesn't sing her classic "Call Me Maybe," she'll have everyone on their feet with her latest hit, "Run Away With Me."
Not only does the festival have Carly Rae, but Charli XCX is also one to watch this year, because you can expect her to put on a performance! The British singer-songwriter last toured and performed songs from "Sucker" in 2015, and her latest EP, "Vroom Vroom" was released in February 2016.
"I haven't written a record to be cool or to be anything - I've just written what's come out of my brain. It's raw pop," she says. "For me on stage that's what I am; I'm not polished. I'm bored of that."
To add to the list of female vocalists who can get the crowd dancing, Hailee Steinfeld is also performing.
Hailee's hit "Love Myself" is bound to get the crowd singing along!
In addition to these three ladies, there will be a number of artists including Krewella, Faith Evans, Da Brat, Bebe Rexha, Big Freedia and more.
