Lauren Bushnell and JoJo Fletcher may have recently double dated with their respective honeys, Ben Higgins and Jordan Rodgers, but that doesn't mean the onetime romantic rivals are totally cool.
"The most frustrating part is that it's known as the 'JoJo Situation,'" Lauren told Us Weekly of the love triangle between herself, her fiancé Ben and the other woman who competed for his affections on the 20th season of "The Bachelor."
(Ben memorably told both women that he loved them before ultimately choosing Lauren over JoJo, who went on to become the 12th Bachelorette.)
"She was involved, but I think no matter who was at the end, or whatever, and no matter what happened, it would've been really hard for me and Ben to move past," added the travel and style blogger.
"I did carry some resentment towards him, not with JoJo," she continued. "I had such a hard time trying to understand and put myself in his shoes and finally was like, 'I will never understand. I will never be the Bachelor.'" (According to Us Weekly, she then tacked on a quick, "Thankfully.")
Ben's confession of love to JoJo has been an ongoing issue between the former Bachelor and his current squeeze, as can be seen on their reality TV spin-off "Ben & Lauren: Happily Ever After?" That's one of the reasons why it was so important to Lauren that she and Ben spend time with JoJo and her fiancé.
"I'm truly glad that we all sat down and went to lunch together," Lauren said. "I really am -- I wish we would've done it months earlier."
Things went well between Ben and Jordan too, though Lauren's honey had one thing to say about his ex's new man: "You know what I did size him up on? His hair is a lot nicer than mine and I was pissed walking out," Ben told Us Weekly.
"[He] has a nice head of hair," Lauren echoed of Aaron Rodgers' baby bro.
JoJo previously denied any involvement with Lauren and Ben's show: "I don't know anything about it," she told reporters on Oct. 14, just days before the double date episode aired.
But that doesn't mean there's bad blood on her part.
When another onetime competitor for Ben's affections, JoJo's pal Becca Tilley, tweeted that the love triangle drama had been drummed up for the show -- "Pretty sure JoJo is over Ben. Pretty sure Ben is over JoJo. Pretty sure Lauren & JoJo are friends. And pretty sure producers pushed that," she wrote -- the flight attended tweeted back, "I'm pretty sure you're right Rebecca!"
