For a good share of the '90s, Jim Carrey was the envy of every man because of his Hollywood status, his funny wit and his pocketbook. But, there was also another reason: Jim Carry had Lauren Holly on his side.
Much (and we do mean much!) has changed since those days. Jim has been in and out of few relationships, some of them with tragic endings, and Lauren toiled in obscurity for the better part of two decades, although she has played in the ABC drama "Motive" since 2013.
This week, though, she reemerged at the Canadian Screen Awards in Toronto. The actress looked good, but drastically different.
The "Dumb and Dumber" star — who many knew as "Mary Samsonite" and "Mary Swanson" — showed up in a full-length black gown that showed her slender frame and toned arms. She also had fuller cheeks and a very youthful look.
And, she says that it's all natural, even saying that her different look is due to some weight gain.
"I've been accused of having a ton of plastic surgery," she said on an upcoming "Oprah: Where Are They Now?". "I haven't had any."
If you believe that, we have some oceanfront property to sell you in Arizona.
Lauren said that she's not opposed to going under the knife, but claims that it hasn't been in the cards for her.
"I'm not saying that I wouldn't," she said. "I almost feel like I might have missed that boat, but I'm not against it. I'm 51. Things change."
As for her looks today, Holly says there's a natural explanation for her "fuller" appearance.
"If a woman wants to look a little younger, gain a little weight, it's a natural thing," she said. "I look a little fuller just from that. I'm OK with that."
Maybe Lauren went to the Jenner school of denying extra facial help.
Kylie used to categorically deny that she had anything done to her.
"These plastic surgery rumors hurt my feelings to be honest and are kinda insulting," Jenner said in 2014.
She's since come out and admitted that she has had lip fillers.
