According to Us Weekly, Madonna wants to organize a peace talk with her ex after four months of fighting over custody of their son Rocco. She is requesting that all three of them sit down to hash things out once and for all.
"There will be no lawyers," the source tells Us Weekly of the early April sit-down.
By all accounts, Rocco, 15, wants to remain in the custody of his father, who lives in London, and doesn't want to return to NYC with his mother. In fact, the teen left Madonna's "Rebel Heart" tour in December, went to see his father, and then refused to go home to his mother over the holidays.
"Rocco feels that she is more concerned with proving Guy wrong than with what he wants," a source tells the magazine.
Us reports, "Madonna is pushing to resolve things, but Guy recently disappeared to the Maldives with Rocco. He isn't resolving anything now."
The insider insists the superstar is looking for a fair resolution and doesn't want to ignore her son's wishes.
Madonna, 57, split from Guy, 47, in 2008 after 8 years of marriage. At the former couple's most recent hearing in London, Madonna's lawyer told the judge, "She wants to chart a course for Rocco and the family to help put this behind them and restore peace to the family."
If the peace talk is unsuccessful, Madonna and Guy are required to appear in a NYC court on June 1, 2016.
As we previously reported, Madonna's son David, 10, desperately misses his big brother. Madge is also mom to Lourdes, 19, and Mercy, 10.
