What a creepy coincidence!

Thursday Oct. 13 marked one year since Lamar Odom nearly died of an overdose at a Nevada brothel, and in the midst of the anniversary the owner of that brothel's home has burned down.

Dennis Hof is the owner of Love Ranch South brothel and in a bizarre turn of events found his three-story home in Reno, Nevada burnt to the ground-- a year to the week when Lamar was found unconscious.

The controversial business establishment owner spoke to TMZ about the strange twist of fate, remarking that Lamar's estranged wife Khloe Kardashian and the rest of her family might have put a hex on him, resulting in this disaster.

To that same outlet Dennis also shared that next year he will be spending this week on a remote desert island, in the event that the Kardashian clan really did resort to some sort of voodoo.

But before Khloe and the rest of the ladies get accused of witchcraft, the circumstances of the house fire need to be examined. Dennis' home reportedly went up in flames due to a controlled fire set by the state of Nevada. The fire clearly got out of control, resulting in the destruction of the $2 million cabin-style home.

The freak accident couldn't have come at a stranger time, as fans of Lamar and his estranged wife marked the anniversary of the scary time in his life. Back in October 2015 Lamar went into a coma after spending days at the establishment and partaking in too much cocaine and herbal Viagra, and had a dire prognosis.

Nowadays Lamar is still struggling with his sobriety but in a much better place. Last April he spoke to "Entertainment Tonight" while attending his former teammate Kobe Bryant's last basketball game, and had a bright outlook on life. "I've never been better, especially after tonight," Lamar said, telling the outlet that Kobe "is the world, learned so much from him off the court, on the court, everything kinda translates and life is beautiful."

For her part, though Khloe stuck by his side during his health crisis, the youngest Kardashian has now moved on. She filed for divorce for a second time in May 2016 and is now happily dating professional athlete Tristan Thompson.
