"Real Housewives of Atlanta" star Porsha Williams had a medical emergency midair during a flight from Atlanta to Miami and had to be attended to by a doctor who was onboard.
According to one report, the reality star fainted in her seat, prompting a flight attendant to ask over the plane's announcement system: "Is there a doctor on board?"
Apparently three doctors answered the call.
Porsha was in first class when she got "woozy," TMZ reports, having spoken with her sister.
She had been traveling by herself while enroute to Miami.
Doctors revived Porsha with a sugar pill, her sister told the website, adding that the "RHOA" star has a low blood sugar issue and has had fainting spells in the past.
She was also attended to by paramedics in Miami who met her upon arrival in Miami. She, however, felt as though she was fine at that point.
One anonymous person recounted the story on Instagram.
"I was on a plane to Miami today and this beautiful woman is staring at me. So of course is stare back and continue as I board my plane and walk past her in first class," the person said, adding that people were taking photos of her.
"As I get settled in my seat, there is an announcement on the loud speaker: 'Is there a doctor aboard the plane!!' Turns out this pretty a— girl is now unresponsive and not breathing!!! Luckily the doctor was able to revive her."
"And to my luck the doctor is sitting one row ahead of me. He shares how she was on some medication (possibly pill popping) but he said she was someone famous."
Porsha has been a bit of a lightning rod on the Bravo TV show. She was arrested in April 2014 after she got in to a fight on the reunion show with costar Kenay Moore. At the time, NeNe Leakes even defended Porsha for the attack.
She later apologized for the incident.
"Violence is not the answer and I want to apologize to my fans, the viewers and the other ladies for my behavior," Williams said at the time. "For the thousands of supporters that have stuck by me I thank you immensely and encourage you to donate to shelters for abused woman and support charities that stop bullying.
"As I mentioned on the show I am embarrassed of my reaction and the way that I handled the provocation and I am dedicated to helping others learn appropriate ways to cope with bullies and abusers and from this experience I hope to continue on a path of personal and spiritual growth."
