Tragedy has struck reality star Toya Wright and her family.
The "Marriage Boot Camp" star's brothers Rudy and Josh Johnson were shot and killed in New Orleans in the early-morning hours on July 31, according to multiple news reports.
Toya -- who shares 17-year-old daughter Reginae with ex-husband Lil Wayne -- took to social media to confirm her brothers' deaths and express her grief on Sunday afternoon.
"Help me Lord🙏🏾🙏🏾 I will never understand this. #stoptheviolence#ineverfeltpainlikethisbefore#riptomybrothers #icantbelievethis#prayformyfamily 😢😢😢," she captioned a photo of her late brothers on Instagram.
Local NBC affiliate WDSU reports that the men's deaths have been classified as a double homicide and that police were alerted to the crime just after midnight.
New Orleans police told the news outlet that they found two men inside of a vehicle and that both had suffered multiple gunshot wounds and were pronounced dead at the scene.
The terrible news comes at an already difficult time for Toya, 32.
Three days earlier, she reportedly filed for divorce from her husband, music producer Mickey "Memphitz" Wright, following five years of marriage.
VIBE.com reports that Rudy had a young daughter and was expecting a child, according to his Instagram account.
Toya's daughter Reginae also shared her heartache on social media in the wake of the shocking news.
"Ryan , I love u ! Come back please ! I called u last night and u didn't answer ! You were my bestfriend ! You were my brother ! You were my uncle ! What do I do without u now ? My favorite !" she wrote on Instagram alongside a photo of her uncle. "You're gone !!!!!! Whyyyyy! Why? I would never question you God !! But why my uncles ? Why?"
Reginae also shared the same photo of her family members that her mother posted, captioning it, "I lost two of my uncles last night 😢 I'm speechless . I'm hurt . I'm devastated . What in the world is going on in this world ?"
