It was a mother-and-son date night for the ages!

Reese Witherspoon proved she's the coolest mom around when she took 12-year-old son Deacon Phillippe to see Coldplay perform at the Rose Bowl in Pasadena, California, on Aug. 20.

The Oscar winner, 40, took to Snapchat to share a video of Deacon hugging on her as she sang along to "Viva la Vida."

The clip was posted on Instagram by fansite Snapsbrakingsnaps.

Everyone always comments on how much Deacon's big sister Ava Phillippe, 16, looks like Reese, but in the clip, it's pretty clear that Deacon is also his mom's mini-me.

Deacon appears to have also brought along a male friend to the concert, which Reese praised on Instagram.

She posted a brief video of Coldplay singer Chris Martin bouncing down the stage during "Viva la Vida."

"#AboutLastNight βœ¨πŸ™ŒπŸΌπŸŽ‰β€οΈπŸŽ€ #ColdplayLA #VivaLaVida @coldplay," Reese captioned the snippet.

Reese and Deacon weren't the only stars in the audience for the Los Angeles-area stop on Coldplay's "A Head Full of Dreams" tour.

Matt Damon, Chloe Grace Moretz, Beck, Chris O'Donnell and model-actress Suki Waterhouse were also photographed at the first of the band's two Rose Bowl shows.
