Rowan Atkinson, the British funnyman known to millions of people worldwide as Mr. Bean, has turned back the clock on his dating life just weeks after finalizing his divorce from his wife of 24 years.
Rowan, 60, is reportedly dating a woman 28-years his junior and the two are already living together.
The Sun is reporting that 32-year-old Louise Ford has moved into Rowan's multi-million dollar cottage in North London.
The couple went public with their relationship in 2014 after Rowan and his wife Sunetra Sastry ended their marriage. However, the divorce only began being finalized within the past several weeks, leading many to think that the age gap-defying duo was waiting for the ink to dry before taking the next step, as an attorney could have used their cohabitation as a bargaining chip.
"Rowan and Louise are both incredibly private people. But this shows they are obviously serious about their relationship," a source told The Sun.
Rowan is estimated to be worth about $75 million dollars. He and Louise reportedly met in 2012 on the set of the West End comic play "Quatermaine's Terms." He was still married at the time. At the time of the split, Rowan and his wife were building a $12 million home. Despite them not living together toward the end, Sunetra filed for divorce in November due to what she deemed "unreasonable behavior."
Currently, Louise stars in an English sitcom called "Crashing."
"Louise is doing really well with her role in Crashing and wants to be in more comedy roles while Rowan has been busy with lots of other projects," the source told the Sun. "They work as a couple because they're both comedy actors and understand each other's work."
Rowan and his ex wife share two adult children, both of whom are closer in age to Louise than the "Mr. Bean" star is.
