If it wasn't for the late Paul Walker, Vin Diesel may have never become a father!
Vin recorded a Facebook live video on Saturday, Sept. 17, discussing just how big of an influence his "Fast & Furious" co-star was on his personal life.
"Paul was very very instrumental in my segue into fatherhood," the 49-year-old actor explained. "He was the one that told me to go to the hospital. He's the one that told me to cut the umbilical cord. He told me to cut the umbilical cord! He was the only person, in California, that knew I was about to have a child."
He added: "He must've been God-sent because he put me on the right path. He set me up. And when we did the first 'Fast & Furious,' I was already 30 years old or something, but he was a father. When we were in the cars in between takes, he would tell me, 'Hey, Vin, it's not a scary thing to become a father,' and give me all the good advice. Next thing I know, I am a dad."
Vin appreciated Paul's guidance so much that he even named one of his three children after the actor, who tragically passed away in a 2013 car crash.
"He is why I named my daughter Pauline because of the credit that Paul Walker deserves in my personal life," he finished.
Vin did the live chat to help raise money for Paul's ROWW charity, and his brother Cody Walker even made an appearance.
He just wrapped filming on the franchise's latest installment "Fast 8," alongside some of the regulars like The Rock, Tyrese Gibson and Michelle Rodriguez.
Since Paul helped Vin along, he and his girlfriend Paloma Jimenez have had two daughters and a son, named Vincent.
