His love for her was true and he showed it with a tattoo... "Was," of course, being the key word.
It looks like Zayn Malik has finally erased all existence of his former fiancé Perrie Edwards, covering up a tattoo he had on his arm of her face. The altered ink was captured by his new girlfriend, Gigi Hadid.
Zayn's model girlfriend posted a Snapchat of her man making fried chicken this week. His right arm, which had the tattoo, can clearly be seen and Perrie's face can no longer be found, which has to be a relief for Gigi, who previously cropped out his right arm in pictures as to not see the ink. Other times she shared photos of him in long sleeved shirts.
Gigi's Snapchat captioned the photo of her chef by writing, "Yessss King," followed by chicken emojis.
Zayn's arm is heavily inked already, so the ink alteration blends in pretty well.
He got the tattoo back in 2013 and took up a large portion of his bicep.
The removal of Perrie is just another step forward for Zayn and Gigi, as they reportedly recently moved in together.
"Zayn and Gigi have moved in together in LA and he's busy furnishing and buying paintings to change it up and make it more of a couple's pad," a source told the Sunday Mirror. "They cherish every moment together and make sure they're never apart for longer than 10 days so it made sense for her to move in officially."
The source added, "Zayn prefers a quiet night with Gigi than showbiz parties so it's important she feels comfortable."
In June it was reported that the couple had split, but even then, there was speculation that the break was only temporary. Gigi quickly fanned flames of a reconciliation with her Snapchat after she documented her day on June 2, and included a possible shout out to her ex-boyfriend on the day that they split.
While spending time with her BFF Kendall Jenner, Gigi snapped a picture of a greeting card. Sounds totally innocent, but it's what the greeting card said that had fans wondering if she and Zayn were getting back together.
The card featured a white T-shirt with a big heart on its sleeve, with the words "I know it's obvious, but I love you" written underneath.
