It's January once again folks, which means the People's Choice Awards show is right around the corner -- January 5 to be exact! The show's been held annually for 36 years, which means there's a wealth of memorable moments from it's nearly four decade run on the air. From Julia Roberts' shaved underarms to Tony Danza's frenetic hosting gig, we take a look back at some unforgettable PCA moments.
Sandra Bullock thanks Jesse James, goofs off with Ryan Reynolds
Bullock's win for Favorite Movie Actress (and Favorite Comedy with Ryan Reynolds for "The Proposal") kicked off her milestone year, which included highs, like her first Oscar win, and lows like the dramatic dissolution of her marriage to Jesse James. During her acceptance speech Bullock thanked her husband Jesse, saying that he is her "boyfriend" and crediting him for keeping things "settled" while she's away. Bullock and Reynolds, who goofed around together on the PCA red carpet, spent 2011 New Year's together, setting off rumors that the recently-divorced actors were getting cozy. Hey, maybe they're just old pals.
