Chord Overstreet

Music and performing live is in Chord Overstreet’s DNA so it makes perfect sense that the blond stud with a smirk smile rose to fame as part of the McKinley High “Glee” club. He got his unusual name because he is the third child of six, his dad is country singer-songwriter Paul Overstreet and there are three notes in a chord. He was raised on a farm outside of Nashville, where he started singing very early on and played mandolin at one of his dad’s concerts at 4. He quickly picked up drums, flute, piano and guitar, which have consistently come in handy on “Glee”. As a teen, he modeled for Gap and Famous Footwear and started his acting career in a web series called “Private”. He made his movie debut in the Joe Dante thriller “The Hole” in 2009, the same year he made his TV debut in an “iCarly” episode. He landed his Screen Actor Guild Awards-nominated weekly gig as Sam “Fish Lips” Evans by singing “Easy” by The Commodores, “I Don’t Want To Be” by Gavin DeGraw and “Billionaire” by Travis McCoy and Bruno Mars. This Emma Roberts ex can also be seen in the “Tonight, Tonight” music video for his brother’s band Hot Chelle Rae and is currently at work on a solo CD.
