Getting back into tip-top shape after having a baby is probably one of the hardest things us ladies have to do in this life ... other than giving birth in the first place. Oh, and raise the kid after giving birth. But celebrities seem to have an uncanny way of making weight loss look easy (i.e., tons of cash). In the January issue of Redbook, reality TV stars Padma Lakshmi, Bethenny Frankel and Alison Sweeney dish out advice on how they shed their post-baby pounds.
Padma Lakshmi on her post-baby body:
"I liked myself at a bigger size. I wanted to lose the weight, but I thought I was doing something more important than tending to my vanity. You look at your body totally differently. It created this life and brought it into the world. I gained about 38 pounds total, and I was beginning to feel like I was never going to lose the weight, but from one week to the next, I would. Before I knew it, I had dropped ten pounds."
