Ashton Cozy With 'Good Friend,' Done With Kabbalah?
Two months after Ashton Kutcher insisted he was just pals with screenwriter Lorene Scafaria, he stepped out with her in a very public setting: a star-studded Oscar party.
Us Weekly says the "Two and a Half Men" star, 34, squired the 33-year-old brunette around the annual post-Oscar bash thrown by Madonna and Guy Oseary.
Ashton and Lorene, who enjoyed a Christmastime getaway to Rome, reportedly mixed and mingled with everyone from Katy Perry to Leonardo DiCaprio.
It was their second outing in as many days. The night before, the pair attended a charity event, where their behavior raised eyebrows.
"They were affectionate," a spy alleges to the mag. "They held hands, and she rubbed his back and neck."
But the Chicago Sun-Times maintains that Ashton has been seeing "a number of non-actress" types, all while checking in regularly with Moore.
Other ways he's purportedly embracing life sans his missus: The paper says the actor is building "a total man-cave environment" in his Los Angeles bachelor pad and is taking a step back from Kabbalah after years of devotion.
"That is Demi's thing, not mine," he's quoted as saying of the red string-wrapped religion.
A source adds that Kutcher has talked to several people about his growing "disinterest" with Kabbalah and has pointed out that he was "less than impressed" with the counseling sessions he and Moore underwent before their marriage crumbled.
