Here's a word of advice for aspiring model Luo Zilin: DUCK! The reason? She's reportedly dating the billionaire ex-boyfriend of former phone flinger Naomi Campbell, who recently served as her mentor and team leader on the modeling competition show "The Face." Over the weekend in Ibiza, paparazzi captured the six-foot Zilin, 24, making out and straddling Russian real estate mogul Vladislav Doronin, 50, whose five-year romance with Naomi hit the skids last month.
"It's fair to say that Luo and Vlad met through Naomi," a source tells the London Daily Mail. "It's really unprofessional of Luo, and it's not great behavior on Vlad's behalf."
And it may have already dinged Zilin's career. The head of her agency, MIX Model Management NYC, tells the paper that he's terminated her contract for "ongoing unprofessional conduct and unacceptable work ethic."
Zilin, a onetime Miss Universe China who sometimes goes by Rosaline, has also presumably lost the support of Campbell (in the words of the inimitable dlisted, "This is like a horror show version of 'All About Eve'").
In recent months, the catwalker has done her best to help her protégé, who became her particular favorite on "The Face." Luo finished as first runner-up.
"Naomi has been so amazing," Zilin gushed in April. "She looks very tough, but she cares a lot." In her exit interview from the show, she called Campbell "my mentor. She is so nice and sweet. She taught a lot. She protected me. I love her!"
