So, you know all those adamant denials that Eva Longoria swiftly issued on Tuesday over reports that Tony Parker had filed for divorce? Turns out their breakup is very much a go, and she's the one pulling the plug.
According to TMZ, Eva is "devastated" over the filing, which cites the usual "irreconcilable differences" as the reason for the split.
"It is with great sadness that after 7 years together, Tony and I have decided to divorce," she tweeted. "We love each other deeply and pray for each other's happiness."
The move comes the same day Us Weekly released its new issue, which accuses Parker of betraying Longoria by exchanging hundreds of "personal texts" with a "mutual female friend" over the course of almost a year.
People magazine reports she was "totally and completely blindsided" by the cover story.
"Eva is heartbroken by the betrayal," reveals an Us source, who claims the NBA-er admitted to the digital indiscretion after the actress confronted him about the "inappropriateness" of the missives.
Parker begged her to stay, according to Us, which says he "does not want to end the marriage." Longoria supposedly confronted the "female friend" in question.
This isn't the first time Tony has been accused of taking liberties with his messaging. In late 2007, just months after the pair married in a fairytale, $1.5 million ceremony at a 17th century castle outside Paris, a French model claimed she had an affair with the basketball player and had the texts to prove it.

Longoria, 35, and Parker, 28, shot down the allegations (which, granted, were more than a little dubious) and issued joint statements declaring their love and happiness.
Unfortunately, that's not going to happen this time around. Eva has confirmed to pal (and "Extra" host) Mario Lopez that she did indeed find the text messages on Tony's phone, which were allegedly from the wife of one of his teammates. She also claims that Parker cheated on her earlier in the marriage with a woman he kept in contact with over Facebook.
"Once the trust was lost, the marriage was over," sighs a friend to Us. "Eva truly thought she was going to grow old with Tony and have children with him. She's inconsolable."
Longoria, who was coming off a divorce from actor Tyler Christopher when she met Parker in 2004, acknowledged that relationships require work.
"I take it day by day," she told Glamour in late 2008. "Tony and I would love to be together forever. But the only way you get to forever is one day at a time."
TMZ says the couple has a prenup, but Eva is seeking spousal support.
