Relax, people! On Sunday night, as the lackluster Super Bowl game was winding down, Jezebel reported that Kim Kardashian was in the midst of a photo shoot for the long-debated cover of Vogue. "They're in LA shooting RIGHT NOW," a source is quoted as saying on the blog.
Alas, an insider close to Kardashian, 33, tells Us Weekly the delicious report is "not true." Rumors have swirled for well over a year of Kardashian landing -- or being denied -- a cover or feature spread in the fashion bible. That would require, of course, the official approval and blessing of Anna Wintour, Vogue's Editor-in-Chief and Creative Director for its publisher, Conde Nast.
Adds a second insider, "Of course Kim would love to be on the cover of Vogue someday."
Whether or not the reality superstar is headed towards a Vogue feature in the future, Wintour has bonded with Kardashian and her fiance, rapper-designer Kanye West, on more than one occasion. While heavily pregnant with daughter North West, Kardashian escorted West, 36, for an intimate dinner at Wintour's NYC apartment the night before the biggest fashion night of the year, the Met Gala.
Wintour also sat near Kardashian and other pals at West's Nov. 19 Yeezus tour concert inside the Barclays Center in Brooklyn.
