Growing up is hard to do -- especially in the spotlight. So it's no surprise that most child stars struggle to navigate the transition into adulthood. Fortunately, not all of the kiddos we watched grow up on-screen completely disappeared from Hollywood as adults. The actress made her big-screen debut at age 13 playing young Cecilia in "Beaches," but it wasn't until 1990 when she won the title role in "Blossom" that she became a household name. Mayim put her acting career in the backseat to focus on college and raising her two sons Miles and Frederick, but in 2010, she returned to Hollywood in a very big way: as Amy Farrah Fowler in "The Big Bang Theory." In 2013, she even scored Emmy and SAG Award nominations for the part.
