Lena Dunham and her 'Girls' costars shine at Season 3 premiere in New York
Celebrating the Jan. 12 launch of their third season, "Girls" stars Lena Dunham, Allison Williams, Zosia Mamet and Jemima Kirke joined friends, family and fans at Lincoln Center on Monday for their premiere. Williams, whose character will reportedly be a major focus of the new season, was joined by her dad, Brian, while Kirke wore one of her mother, Lorraine's designs to the bash.
"'Hannah is in sort of a better place than we've ever seen her before. She's in a committed relationship, she has a book deal, and she's promised to really put in the work as opposed to just sort of acting as though wanting to be a writer is the same as being a writer," Dunham told "Good Morning America" recently when asked what viewers could expect when the young, frustrated Brooklynites return to HBO. "But, of course, this is 'Girls,'" Dunham cautioned, "so things can't stay very good for very long."
