With a new role on "Real Housewives of Beverly Hills" and a tell-all book completed, Brandi Glanville is finally starting to enjoy some financial freedom. But her situation remains vastly unlike those of her co-stars. For starters, when her ex, Eddie Cibrian, left her for LeAnn Rimes, Glanville says, "I was a 36-year-old woman who couldn't lease a car and couldn't lease a house. For 13 years, my name wasn't on one account. I am still building my credit." And though she'd like to move on from Eddie, legal confrontations seem to be the ties that still bind.
"I want the lawsuit to go away," Glanville says, referring to Rimes' "Internet bullying" suit against two Glanville fans (Glanville and Cibrian, meanwhile, are duking it out in court over whether their kids will appear on "Housewives). "It is not going to end up good for anyone. I want LeAnn to be fine. And to be happy. Just take my husband and go away." As for her newfound fame and income? "If it is gone tomorrow, I made the most of it," she says. "I joke that I whore myself out to anyone that will pay me. But that is kind of what is happening." (NYP)
