Kirk Cameron Claims Piers Morgan Took Gay Comments Out of Context
Remember all those not-so-open-minded things erstwhile actor-turned-staunch-conservative talking head Kirk Cameron told Piers Morgan regarding homosexuality? Let us refresh your memory. Good old Mike Seaver said that folks of the same gender falling in love is "unnatural" and "destructive to so many foundations of civilization." He added that "marriage was defined in the garden between Adam and Eve -- one man, one woman for life till death do you part," and since we all know Adam and Eve, not evolution, are responsible for the advent of humanity, gay marriage must be bad.
Now, Kirk says those quotes were taken out of context: "If Piers Morgan were truly concerned about the homosexual community, concerned with people being hurt, he could have eliminated that section, like he did many other parts of our conversation." (Jezebel)
