Mel Gibson loses his temper with police at Los Angeles checkpoint: Report
Not again! Mel Gibson was stopped by police at a DUI checkpoint while driving along the Pacific Coast Highway with a lady friend late at night last Saturday and, according to TMZ, he lost his temper with the fuzz. This time he reportedly managed to lay off the anti-semitic remarks that made headlines when he got pulled over there in 2006, but the run-in was not without incident.
Gibson reportedly told the cops he had not been drinking, and they did not press the matter. They did, however, request to see his license. Turned out Mel was driving without his ID. "Why are you harassing me?" he allegedly demanded. When asked why he was raising his voice, Gibson reportedly griped, "I have had problems with you Lost Hills [Malibu] deputies in the past." He was ultimately allowed to leave with a warning.
