Now: Carol, now 78, wrote a memoir in 1986 titled One More Time, which has since become a New York Times best-seller. In 2007, Carol sued 20th Century Fox for $6 million, claiming copyright infringement and misappropriation of likeness, when "Family Guy" portrayed her as a janitor in an adult film store bathroom and used a modified version of her theme song. However, a judge dismissed the case. Carol still acts, most recently appearing as Sue Sylvester's mom on "Glee."
