On the heels of their Golden Globes afterparty flirting, Katy Perry and Orlando Bloom were spotted together in late January 2016. This time, they were seen attending a play in Los Angeles. Afterward, they snapped a group selfie with James Lecesne and Vinessa Shaw, fueling romance rumors.

Fans hoped the couple would make things red carpet official at the 2016 Met gala in early May, but the famous pair opted to pose separately. Still, they had a secret connection to each other — both wore matching Tamagotchis to the high-fashion event. Though they didn't walk the red carpet side by side, they did get snapped together at an afterparty (seen here)!

The new couple sat at different tables and tried to downplay their budding relationship. Yet on that same trip, Katy eventually made things Instagram official, posting a photo of herself with Orlando on the steps of France's Hotel du Cap-Eden-Roc, captioning it, "we cannes't."
It was a summer of vacations for Orlando Bloom and Katy Perry. After spending time in Cannes, France, in May (seen here), they traveled to Italy in August 2016. It was there that the duo made headlines for a pretty interesting move — naked paddleboarding. Yep, while Katy soaked up the sun in a bikini, Orlando was caught by paparazzi paddling in the buff.
The couple that does a joint Halloween costume together… stays together? Katy Perry stepped out to a Halloween party in 2016 dressed as presidential candidate Hillary Clinton. Headlines speculated that the man dressed as former President Bill Clinton next to her was Orlando — but it turns out it was a friend: Orlando wore a wild orange wig and mask and trailed Katy dressed as a larger-than-life cartoon-y version of candidate Donald Trump.
Things were getting very serious by November 2016. Katy Perry and Orlando Bloom spent Thanksgiving with Katy's family — Orlando was even decked out in a plaid onesie with the rest of the group, according to Katy's Instagram Story. Days after the holiday, the duo attended the UNICEF Snowflake Ball in New York City together — and this time they sat at the same table!

The Sun was the first to report that the stars had reunited — just in time for Valentine's Day. Fans noticed that Katy and Orlando had started liking each other's Instagram posts ahead of the reunion news.
In April 2018, Katy Perry and Orlando Bloom were seen vacationing in Rome, where they took in sights such as the Colosseum. Following the trip, rumors began to swirl that the couple had secretly tied the knot and that the stop was actually their honeymoon — but it was quickly discovered that they weren't even yet engaged, much less already husband and wife.
