MailOnline uncovered photos showing Nicole seated next to Brad in a VIP box during a performance of Kanye West's "Nebuchadnezzar" opera at the Hollywood Bowl back in November 2019, and other reports later claimed they met in the summer of 2019 at a restaurant owned by Nicole's husband — restaurateur Roland Mary, with whom she shares a 7-year-old son and, according to a MailOnline source, an "open marriage" — when Brad was in Germany to promote his movie "Once Upon a Time in Hollywood." During the coronavirus pandemic, Patrick and Linda — who were friendly early in their careers — reconnected in a group chat with mutual friends. Eventually, they started talking to just each other. "I loaded up my car and drove 20 hours and ended up on her doorstep just to see if it was real. We haven't been apart since," he said.
