Wonderwall.com rounded up all the stars who popped the question or said yes in 2022, starting with this couple… "Gossip Girl" alum Jessica Szohr, who currently stars on 'The Orville," announced her engagement to NHL player Brad Richardson on Instagram on May 16 with this black-and-white selfie showing off her ring alongside the message, "I said yes!" The pair made their romance Instagram official in April 2019 and in January 2021 welcomed their first child together, daughter Bowie Ella.

Just three months after they first sparked dating speculation, salsa singer Marc Anthony and Miss Universe Paraguay 2021 Nadia Ferreira — who at 23 is 30 years his junior — are engaged, she confirmed on her Instagram Story on May 12, flashing photo of her huge ring captioned, "Engagement party!!!" This will be Marc's fourth marriage.

On May 6, "Arrow" and "Legends of Tomorrow" actress Caity Lotz and "Big Sky" actor Kyle Schmid announced their engagement — he popped the question in Marrakech, Morocco — in a series of photos they shared on Instagram. "I've never been more sure of anything in my life," the Arrowverse star captioned her pics, while Kyle wrote, "The sun rises and sets with you. The moon and the stars have never shone so brightly. You are the love of my life."

On May 4, People magazine broke the news that Kat Graham is engaged to her boyfriend of about five years, TV director and producer Darren Genet — who once worked as a director of photography on "The Vampire Diaries," the show that made her a star. (They didn't take their relationship to the next level until after the hit series ended in early 2017.) He reportedly proposed to the actress — who's two decades his junior — while celebrating his 52nd birthday in Mexico sometime "a few weeks ago." According to a source, "Kat is madly in love and couldn't be happier."

On April 20, model Sofia Richie — the youngest daughter of music star Lionel Richie and his second wife, Diane Alexander — announced that she and her boyfriend of a year, Elliot Grainge, are engaged. "Forever isn't long enough," she captioned two photos on Instagram — one showing Elliot popping the question while down on one knee atop a bed of white rose petals surrounded by candles outside at Hawaii's Four Seasons Hualalai and a second of herself kissing him and showing off her diamond ring. "She said yes," Elliot — a music executive who's the son of Universal Music Group Chairman and CEO Lucian Grainge — captioned another photo of his bride-to-be kissing him after his proposal.

Former adult film actress Bonnie Rotten (real name: Alaina Hicks) took to Instagram on April 6 to announce that she and former "Monster Garage" star Jesse James are planning to wed. "We're engaged! I knew the moment I met you I wanted to spend every single day with you. The way you love me and my [daughter] was all I ever dreamed of. I can't wait for the rest of our awesome lives together, I've never met anyone who understands me more than you. You're truly my best friend and all I want in the entire world is to make you the happiest man in the entire universe. You are perfect for me. I promise to always be by your side," she captioned a slideshow of photos showing off her new engagement ring, which Jesse — a custom car and motorcycle builder who founded West Coast Choppers — made himself. Avril Lavigne is engaged! The pop punk singer took to Instagram on April 7 to reveal that musician and collaborator Mod Sun proposed in Paris at the end of March after more than a year of dating. "Oui! Je t'aime pour toujours Dimanche. 27. Mars. 2022," Avril captioned a slideshow of photos from their engagement in the French capital, revealing her heart-shaped diamond ring. (It translates to "Yes! I love you forever Sunday. 27. March. 2022.") Mod Sun (real name: Derek Ryan Smith) also shared photos on Instagram, writing, "The day we met I knew you were the one. Together forever til our days are done. I had a dream where I proposed in paris. I pulled out a ring + asked you to wear it. I was on one knee as I looked in your eyes. You're too beautiful for my words to describe. I grabbed your hand + took one last breath… I said 'will you marry me?' + she said 'yes.' I love you Avril." This will be Avril's third marriage — she was previously wed to Sum 41 rocker Deryck Whibley and Nickelback frontman Chad Kroeger — and Mod Sun's second, sort of: His brief marriage to Bella Thorne wasn't legal.

After spending much of 2021 rekindling their early aughts romance, Jennifer Lopez and Ben Affleck got engaged for the second time this spring. The singer-actress confirmed the happy news in her On the J.Lo newsletter on April 8 in the wake of rumors sparked by the giant sparkler she was spotted wearing earlier in the week while shopping with her daughter in Los Angeles. A video she shared with subscribers showed the "Marry Me" star tearing up while looking at the green stone that now adorns her left hand. "It's a beautiful outcome that this has happened in this way at this time in our lives where we can really appreciate and celebrate each other and respect each other," Jennifer told People earlier in the year. "We always did, but we have even more of an appreciation because we know that life can take you in different directions." While the two ultimately called off their first engagement and split in 2004, Jennifer said the relationship feels more solid this time around. "I think we are strong enough now to know what's real and what's not," she explained, "whereas when we were younger maybe some of those outside voices were a little bit tougher for us to reconcile and survive."

Former "The Bachelorette" star Andi Dorfman is engaged, People magazine confirmed on March 30. The lawyer and author, who starred on season 10 of the ABC show in 2014 and broke off her engagement to winner Josh Murray in 2015, said yes to boyfriend Blaine Hart, who proposed on a Los Angeles beach at sunset after less than a year of dating. "We get down to our spot, pour some wine, walked toward the water and when I turned around, he was on one knee," Andi told People of her beau, a former college baseball player who now works in commercial real estate. They met 15 years ago and reconnected in the summer of 2021 when they saw each other in Italy. "I don't even remember what he said, I just remember hugging him and crying. … then after, the best part was, he told me instead of dinner we were going to stay the night at Hotel Bel-Air. So we drove home to pack a bag and when I opened the door to our home, both of our families and my closest friends were there to surprise me. That's when I really started bawling." "I'm extremely happy! 2021 was the most transformative year of my life. Starting 2022 off with my best friend, teammate and now fiancé is something I never thought was going to be possible," Colton told People magazine, adding on Instagram alongside a photo with Jordan, whom he started dating during the summer of 2021, "life is going to be fun with you."
